Margie graduated from Concordia Teachers College, Seward, Nebraska in 1974. She began teaching at Calvary Lutheran in the fall of that year, teaching grades 1 and 2.  She also coached all of the girls’ sports. In 1977 she taught afternoon kindergarten. In 1978, she “semi” retired to begin raising her family however; she continued teaching P.E. and coaching the girls’ sports.  Margie returned to full time teaching in 1988 with a single second grade and is still our second grade teacher. This will be her 23rd year of teaching. She married Gerry in 1975 and they have been blessed with four children, Candice, Jason, Katrina, and Erika.  Calvary is extremely blessed to have Margie on our staff.
