Lauren completed her California State Credential in 2005. Prior to her teaching career, she was a social worker in long-term care and geri-psychiatric facilities. Lauren is a graduate of Patten University and also earned an M.A. at Holy Names University. She taught fourth grade for 2 years at Bethel Christian Academy in Fremont and for 4 years at Redwood Christian School in Castro Valley. Lauren and Ed, her husband of 27 years, have led Bible studies for couples in their home for 10 years. They have two sons, Brian and Lee, and a daughter-in-law, Jenny. Psalm 78 inspires Lauren:4b – “We will tell the next generation praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” We are blessed to have such a dedicated, Christian teacher on our staff.
