Pastor Jim Bothwell - Senior Pastor.  Pastor Jim Bothwell has served Calvary as Senior Pastor since September of 2001. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1983 and served Good Shepherd in Healdsburg, CA before coming to Calvary. He was married to Patricia, his best friend in 1973.   They were blessed with two children, Jason and Jessica.  Pastor and Pat have been a true blessing to all of us.  Patricia was called to her heavenly home in July 2007.  We will all miss her presence here at Calvary, but we are thankful for the many joyous memories that we are left with.

Pastor has a great love for education and for the Lord’s ministry here at Calvary.  He works closely with the staff, the students, and the families of Calvary Lutheran Ministries.  We are extremely blessed to have his leadership and guidance.

Trudy Packard – Principal of Calvary Lutheran School. Trudy has completed 26 years of teaching in Lutheran Schools and has served as the principal of Calvary for the past 3 years.  She has a deep commitment to the Lord and to His ministry.  Trudy graduated from Concordia Teacher’s College in Seward, Nebraska in 1977 with a B.S. in Education and a Lutheran Teacher’s Diploma. She obtained her M.A.T. in 1986 from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.  Staying abreast of the newest educational information is very important to her and in order to do so, she attends classes and workshops on a regular basis.  She has taught a variety of subjects in grades Kindergarten - 6th and enjoys being the principal of Calvary Lutheran School. Trudy is married to Bill and they live in San Lorenzo where they enjoy being close to their family and being able to worship with them here at Calvary.

Dave Mueller – Administrative Assistant for Calvary Lutheran Church.  Dave and his wife Marlene are long time members of Calvary.  There grown children and their families also worship at Calvary.  He has served in the position of Administrative Assistant for many years and has been a tremendous blessing to our church!  This year he has the privilege seeing of one of his granddaughters while work, because she attends Calvary Lutheran School.

Anne Ellis – Lay Youth Leader.  Anne  has recently been hired as Calvary’s Lay Youth Leader.  She will be working with the junior and senior high youth of our congregation and school.  She has been an active member of Calvary Lutheran ministries for 17 years.  Anne has served as Sunday School Teacher, VBS Teacher, Parent School Committee Chairman, and on the Evangelism Board.  She has been married to Steven Ellis, Calvary’s School Board Chair, for 16 years.  Anne and Steven have three children, Jonathan, Jacob, and Katie.  Jonathan graduated from Calvary in 2006, and Jacob and Katie are enrolled in Calvary’s Middle School.  Anne is delighted to be working with the Middle School and Senior High Youth Group.

Holly Contier – Church Office.   Holly is the church secretary here at Calvary.  Holly and husband Ron three children, Tiffany, Tammy & Trevor.  Tiffany and Tammy graduated from Calvary.  Trevor is currently a student at Calvary.  Holly and her family are all very active at Calvary.  She has many gifts and talents, which allow her to do an outstanding job in our church office and in many other areas as well.  She sings in Calvary’s Praise Band sharing her gift of music with our congregation and with our students in chapel.  We are blessed to have this dedicated Christian woman on our staff.

Joyce Strom – Administrative Assistant.   Joyce and her husband Lee have been active time members of Calvary for many years.  Along with their three children, they are an important part of our church family and ministry.  She is a real “treasure” to CLS and a valuable asset to the day-to-day happenings.  She is an upbeat, dedicated worker and we all appreciate her partnership in our school! She has served as the administrative assistant for 18 years.
