Luke Gronert will have a very delicate procedure this morning at Stanford in an attempt to remove the clots from his vein. pray for this miracle to happen.
Wilma Ramirez is once more been hospitalized. No information as of this email. Pray for her as she continues to battle this unknown illness.

Good morning prayers;

Received from Marlene Mueller:
Gina Gerome's friend Tomika lost her baby boy today. She was 5months pregnant. Please Pray for comfort for Tomika and her husband and family during this very sad time.

The latest on Luke is that he has been taken to Stanford. He has multiple blood clots in him. Pray that the heperin thins the blood and that the clots dissolve and do not break away. The mass is still present but the blood clots take precedent. Pray hard for him.

Also, a client of my fiance (Kathy), Maxine, has had a brain tumor removed in her 80's and is slow in recovering and wishes to speak with me. The hope is I will see her Saturday or Sunday. Pray for her recovery and for her daughter, also named Cathy.

Greetings;
Update on Luke Gronert: Luke is still at Kaiser, Santa Clara, in ICU and in great pain. The doctors do not think it is a tumor but a blood clot in the main vein from the heart to the legs, but as of right now, there is nothing specific they are saying. So keep Mark, Cathy, Jake and Luke in your prayers.

Hi Pastor: Please thank everyone for their prayers for my mom. Last night we received a call at 10:00 p.m. from my mom's surgeon telling us that her biopsy results were benign. We feel so blessed and happy with this news. Thanks to all for their prayers for my mom and my aunt. Diane Salo

Just received a phone call from Ann Benson after her second chemo treatment and all is still well. She feels well and has a wonderfully positive outlook and attitude.

Prayers for Luke Gronert, 16-year-old son of Thrivent representative, Mark and wife, Kathy, has a huge mass on his spine. He is at Kaiser, Santa Clara, for testing and for an immediate operation. Pray for Luke and family, that the mass is benign, the surgery will go well, and for complete recovery.

Greetings;

Pray for healing for Bob Dailey who is home with pneumonia.

Keep lifting up our Vacation Bible Camp in prayer. We are still in need of crew leaders to shepherd/ chaperone a group of 5-8 kids from station to station. We also really need several creative people to help with decorating. Pray for the Lord to begin to prepare the hearts of the many children who will be attending.

Please pray for Forrest and Mary Lea Adams as they make their move to their new home in Washington. Please pray for their safety and guidance. It's a thirteen hour drive, maybe longer. Victoria will be travelling with them so please pray for her as well - rick de la cruz

Prayers for Myron Schroer who has contracted a mysterious infection in his eye while vacationing in Cancun. They are returning home today. Pray for doctors to determine the source and cure, and as they perform surgery Monday.

From Anne Benson:

Dear Pastor:

Lisa and I met with the Oncologist this morning.  The cancer has been identified and we will meet with the opnce  Educational Staff on Monday.   I begin chemo next Wed.  The treatment will be aggressive.  I will have chemo once a week for two weeks,  one week off, then start over again.  A Pet scan will be ordered after a couple of months to see what is happening.    I am doing okay because now that I know the chemo has been scheduled.

Thanks so much for your prayers, support and love.  It means alot to me and I know  that it has alot to do with healing.  I am going to beat this thing.  It is not going to beat me.

I will keep you informed and pray that you will have a nice restful weekend.

Greetings;

An update on Ann Benson - keep praying for her to be calm and patient during this trial, and for a miracle of healing:

Lisa and I went to my Primary Care Doctor today.  Didn't find out alot, so hopefully when I go to the Oncologist on Friday morning (appt 9:45)  we will know more, did find out that the cancer is non small cell.  I am not sure what all of this means, but hopefully will be able to start treatment asap as it seems to be fast growing.

Wilma Ramirez is still in the hospital and going through a lot. Her temperature is still present and the doctors are saying there isn't much they can do for her. Julie, her daughter, is really struggling with the lack of info and progress. They are scheduling a meeting with her for today or tomorrow to outline the severity of Wilma's condition and what, if anything, can be done to help her. Pray for God's wisdom to be known by all involved and for Wilma and Julie to be strengthened by Him as they face this very difficult and uncertain time.

Shirley Evjen grows weaker every day, continue to pray for her deliverance soon.

Prayers of comfort for the Rick Deckert family today, as we remember him at a graveside service at 1:00p.

Thanksgiving for Confirmation Sunday, a calm ending to the school year, and for a great graduation this past Tuesday.

Lisa Ghiselli will be having laser eye surgery on the 16th & 23rd of this month at 8:00am. Pray for her to be at peace about this and for a full and complete recovery.

My father's brother, Frank Larson, passed away to day. He lived a long and full life. Please pray for my father, my aunt Fern and the rest of the family as they deal with his passing. Thanks!

I met with the Oncologist this morning. I have stage 4 cancer. (lung, lumph nodes and liver). Tissue has been sent to SF for final examination. I have a follow up appointment next Friday. Please pray that the results will reveal what kind of cancer so that I can begin chemo asap.

Greetings;

District Education Executive, Joel Koerschen, will be having back surgery tomorrow to relieve pressure and be able to walk. Pray for healing and a successful surgery.

I just visited with Shirley Evjen and she is requesting prayers for her deliverance. She is extremely tired and simply wants to go home to heaven and see all those who have gone before. I told her I would pass her request along.

Wilma Ramirez is back at Mt. Eden with pneumonia. She is finished with her treatments at UCSF. Our prayers are for healing and that the treatments received will bring relief and healing.

Prayers that we will receive a very positive response to our grant request to the Valley Foundation will result in a $1,000,000 gift toward the building of our Multi-purpose addition.

Prayers for our nine confirmands as they prepare for their questioning on Friday evening and their confirmation on Sunday at 10:45 service.

Prayers for our 8th grade class as they complete their year tomorrow and prepare for their graduation on Tuesday, the 10th.
